AutoChlor® SMC™ Mark II Saltwater Pool Chlorinator
 
The AutoChlor SMC Mark II Saltwater Pool Chlorinator combines reliable automatic chlorination with energy-efficient Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) technology and a reverse-polarity self-cleaning cell.
 
Designed and manufactured in Australia by AIS Water, the SMC Mark II uses SMPS technology instead of a traditional transformer, providing a compact and lightweight power supply with efficient operation and a wide operating salinity range.
 
Available in 20g/hr and 30g/hr models, the SMC Mark II is designed for residential saltwater swimming pools up to approximately 60,000 litres, depending on model and operating conditions.

AIS specifies these approximate capacities based on testing at 26°C, pH 7.7, 4,000ppm salinity and 200L/min flow. Actual chlorine demand will vary according to climate, pool usage, water chemistry and environmental conditions.
 
SMPS Technology:
 
The SMC Series was developed around Switch Mode Power Supply technology, providing an energy-efficient and lightweight alternative to traditional transformer-based chlorinator power supplies.
 
Reverse-Polarity Technology:
 
The reverse-polarity function periodically changes the electrical polarity of the cell to help reduce calcium build-up on the electrodes, reducing maintenance requirements.
 
Warranty:
 
Backed by an AIS Water 2-year manufacturer's warranty on the power supply and electrolytic cell for residential use. Commercial applications are covered for 1 year.
