The Lo-Chlor Starver Phosphate Test Kit is a convenient liquid-reagent kit for checking phosphate levels in swimming pool water.
 
Phosphates can provide a food source for algae and may contribute to increased chlorine demand. Regular testing helps identify elevated phosphate levels and determine when a phosphate-removal treatment may be required.

Kit contents:
 
1 × 25mL Reagent A
2 × 25mL Reagent B
1 × 12mL test vial
Phosphate colour chart and instructions
 
Directions:
 
Rinse the test vial with the pool-water sample.
Fill the vial to the beginning of the screw-cap thread.
Add five drops of Reagent A.
Add five drops of Reagent B.
Replace the cap and shake gently.
Wait five seconds.
Look down through the vial over a white background and compare the colour with the supplied chart.
 
For best results, follow the supplied instructions carefully. Long-term refrigeration of the reagents is recommended.
 
Safety: Keep out of reach of children. Reagent A contains hazardous substances. Read the product label and safety information before use, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and open carefully in case leakage has occurred during transport.
