Upgrade an existing surface-mounted pool light with the Spa Electrics GKRX Multi Plus LED Retrofit Pool Light.
 
Designed for existing pools, the GKRX uses a suitable existing pool-light cable and compatible 12–32V AC transformer. It includes mounting plates for compatible concrete and fibreglass installations, helping simplify conversion from many older halogen and LED pool lights.
 
The Multi Plus RGB+W light engine provides seven fixed colours, four automatic colour shows and a dedicated 4000K true-white LED. Operate it from a standard wall switch, compatible Spa Electrics iRIS controller or selected third-party pool-automation system.
 
IMPORTANT: This retrofit light does not include a new cable, transformer or controller.

OPERATION
 
The GKRX Multi Plus is supplied ready for wall-switch operation. Briefly switch the light off and back on to advance to the next colour or show. The light remembers the selected setting after it has been switched off for more than one minute.
 
A compatible Spa Electrics iRIS controller can provide direct colour selection, brightness adjustment, show-speed control, scheduling and separate pool and spa lighting zones.
Compatibility with third-party automation systems must be confirmed before ordering.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
 
Before ordering, confirm that:
• The existing supply is 12–32V AC
• The transformer is compatible and has sufficient capacity
• The existing cable is in serviceable condition
• Sufficient cable is available for connection and servicing
• The supplied mounting plate suits the existing light
• Any additional adaptor required has been identified
 
If the existing cable is too short or unsuitable, an approved cable joiner or professionally installed underwater cable joint may be required.
 
Fibreglass and vinyl-lined pools can require additional sealing components, mounting hardware or lowering of the water level.
 
Contact Aus Pool Supplies before ordering for a vinyl-lined pool or where a suction point is located behind the existing light.
 
Installation must comply with Spa Electrics’ instructions and applicable Australian electrical requirements. Use a suitably qualified installer where required.
 
The light must only be operated while submerged.
