The Thermo Scientific Expert CTS Salt Tester is a professional waterproof pocket meter for measuring salinity, conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS) and water temperature. Its 0–10.0 ppt salinity range makes it suitable for checking salt levels in swimming pools, spas and other water-testing applications.
 
Salinity readings are displayed in parts per thousand (ppt). To convert the reading to parts per million, multiply it by 1,000—for example, 4.0 ppt equals 4,000 ppm.

The tester and batteries are included. Calibration solution is not included. Rinse the sensor with fresh water after testing pool or spa water and calibrate periodically using the appropriate conductivity standard.
