Zane PC5 Solar Controller
 
The Zane PC5 Solar Controller automatically manages your solar pool heating system to maximise available heat while reducing unnecessary pump operation.
 
Using separate pool and roof temperature probes, the PC5 compares the temperature at the solar collectors with the pool water temperature.
 
In Auto mode, it activates the solar pump when sufficient heat is available and switches it off when the pool reaches the selected temperature or solar conditions are no longer suitable.
 
The adjustable top-out temperature lets you select your preferred pool temperature, while the digital display can show either the pool water or roof collector temperature.

Operating Modes
 
Auto: Automatically operates the solar pump when useful heat is available.
Off: Disables solar heating operation.
Run: Manually overrides the automatic solar function for testing, servicing or pool cooling.
Sleep: Winter mode periodically operates the system to help flush the solar circuit.
